Ara Soudjian, Lara Aslanian, and Friendly Filmworks recently wrapped production on a reboot of the cult classic Beyond Belief starring Jonathan Frakes. They shot eight episodes in 44 days. The show will premiere this Sunday, October 30 at 8pm on the German television station, RTL2.

The team partnered with Oscar-winning production company Wiedemann & Berg, known for their work on The Lives of Others, on the production in Los Angeles.
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction, originally an anthology series created by Dick Clark, was produced and aired on Fox from 1997 until 2002. In 2022, a fifth season was produced for the German market, where new episodes are released each Halloween, with each episode featuring stories, all of which appeared to defy logic, and some of which were allegedly based on actual events. In the end of each episode, it is revealed to the viewer whether the tales were true or works of fiction.
