Armenian Film Society London is the international extension of the Armenian Film Society, hosting year-round screenings and events that create a vibrant platform for Armenian cinema and culture in the heart of London.
Established in October 2024, Armenian Film Society London launched with the inaugural Armenian Film Festival London, held in December at the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA). Armenian Film Society London also curates the Jukebox Film Club at ICA.
Armenian Film Festival London is spearheaded by curator Kira Adibekov and filmmaker Tatevik Ayvazyan, with the support of the Armenian Film Society.
The 2025 Armenian Film Festival London, held under the auspices of the Armenian Embassy in the UK, returns to the Institute of Contemporary Arts from December 4-7.
This year’s four-day edition will showcase an exceptional selection of films from both the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian Diaspora, bringing together established filmmakers and exciting new voices. Screenings will be accompanied by Q&As, film introductions, lectures, drink receptions, and DJ sets.
This year’s edition will feature the UK premieres of Monsieur Aznavour, My Armenian Phantoms, Die Like a Man, and the 4K restoration of Atom Egoyan’s Academy Award–nominated The Sweet Hereafter, as well as a special collaboration with the Sergei Parajanov Museum, among other highlights.
Tickets can be purchased at the ICA website.
