Join us on Monday, April 24 for the City of Glendale's Annual Armenian Genocide Commemorative Event at the Alex Theatre, featuring Joe Manganiello.

This year's theme, "The Armenian Experience Through the Lens," celebrates the 100th anniversary of Armenian cinema. This year's program will consist of curated segments to educate and inform attendees. The program will commence with a tribute to the ongoing atrocities in Artsakh, an exclusive ten-minute preview of Aurora's Sunrise, Armenia's official submission to the 2023 Academy Awards for the Best International Film category and an introduction by director Inna Sahakyan, as well as a conversation with Araksya Karapetyan and Joe Manganiello. Armenian Film Society is a part of the planning committee for the event.
