John Guleserian serves as cinematographer on COCAINE BEAR, now in theaters everywhere.

COCAINE BEAR is directed by Elizabeth Banks and is loosely inspired by the true story of the "Cocaine Bear," a black bear that ingested millions of dollars of lost cocaine in 1985. The film features a cast that includes Keri Russell, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Christian Convery, Alden Ehrenreich, Brooklynn Prince, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Margo Martindale, and Ray Liotta.

John Guleserian is a Michigan native and is Armenian on his father's side. The cinematographer tells Armenian Film Society that he is a proud Armenian and that he has enjoyed getting to know the Armenian culture and community since moving to Glendale in his 20s.

John Guleserian aspired to be a filmmaker from a young age, working as an ice cream truck driver before studying cinematography at Columbia College Chicago and AFI. In his career, he has worked on films such as LIKE CRAZY, ABOUT TIME, LOVE, SIMON, HAPPIEST SEASON, and CANDYMAN.
