Directors Name The Color of Pomegranates as One of Greatest Films of All Time

The Color of Pomegranates has been named as one of the greatest films of all time by directors.

Sight and Sound publishes a poll every decade in which the world’s leading directors vote on what they believe to be the greatest films of all time. This year, 480 directors participated in the poll, including Martin Scorsese, Joanna Hogg, Bong Joon Ho, Mia Hansen-Løve, and Barry Jenkins. The group spans experimental, arthouse, mainstream, and genre filmmakers from around the world.

The Color of Pomegranates placed #93 and is tied alongside films such as Throne of Blood, Yi Yi, Pickpocket, Battleship Potemkin, Taste of Cherry, Parasite, Hidden, The Conformist, Moonlight, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
